Where the money actually goes.
Most businesses aren't short on leads. They're short on a process that catches them. We audit your lead flow, rebuild the follow-up, and train your managers to run it after we leave.
None of these show up on a marketing report.
All of them show up in the sales numbers.
The lead sits.
A buyer fills out a form and waits an hour for a call. By then they've filled out two more. The first business to a live conversation usually wins, and it usually isn't you.
Two calls and quit.
Most salespeople stop after the second attempt, while many deals need several more touches to close. The pipeline isn’t dry — it’s abandoned.
The CRM is a graveyard.
Half-logged notes, dead statuses, deals parked in stages nobody reviews. If the manager can't see the truth in the CRM, they can't coach to it.
Nobody owns the miss.
When a lead goes cold there's no name attached and no conversation on Monday. Accountability isn't a personality trait — it's a process, or it doesn't exist.
Seven modules, installed and taught.
Adapted to your business, your CRM and your people. We don't hand you a binder — we build the thing, run it with your team, then train your managers to keep running it.
Speed to Lead
Routing, alerting and coverage so every inbound gets a human voice inside the window that actually converts — nights and weekends included.
CRM Discipline
Statuses that mean something, notes a manager can read, and a daily work plan the rep opens instead of avoids.
The Follow-Up Cadence
A written contact schedule — calls, texts, email, video — that runs past the point where most teams give up, with scripts for each touch.
Appointments & Show Rate
Setting the appointment is half the job. Confirming it, and getting them through the door, is the half nobody trains.
Floor Process & Handoff
What happens between the greeting, the desk and finance — so the customer never feels the seams and the deal never stalls in a hallway.
Manager Accountability
The daily one-on-one, the weekly number and the save. Managers stop reacting to the board and start driving it.
Train the Trainer
Your people run the program after we leave. That's the whole point — a system you own, not a consultant you rent.
Each industry has its own page.
Anything high-ticket, where a person still has to pick up the phone to close it.
You get the paperwork, not just the pitch.
Every engagement produces documents you keep. If we're not making a measurable difference, these are the pages that will show it before we do.
The audit
We mystery-shop your own lead flow, time every response, and hand you the recording. Most owners have never heard what their business sounds like on the other end.
The cadence
A written contact schedule with scripts for every touch. Not a philosophy — a document your reps work from and your managers can hold them to.
The scorecard
Response time, attempts per lead, appointments set, appointments shown, closed. Reviewed weekly against a target you agreed to.
Three ways to work together.
Every engagement starts with discovery. It's the only honest way to scope the rest.

I ran the desk before I built the ads.
I'm Trae Sepulveda. Before I started BLK PHNX, I was a BDC director — the person responsible for what happens to a lead after it comes in. I've sat in the chair you're sitting in, watching good leads go cold between the form fill and the follow-up call.
That's an unusual place to come at marketing from, and it's why we work in the order we do. Plenty of agencies will happily sell you more traffic. Fewer will tell you your ad spend is fine and the problem is that nobody called back until Tuesday.
"Marketing gets them to raise their hand. Everything after that is a process — and a process can be taught."
It starts with understanding your business. Everything else follows from that.
Ads, websites, and software are the easy part. What actually moves your bottom line is knowing where your business is losing money and why. That's why the most important hour we spend together is the first one.
Discovery
Book a call online, or meet in person — at your location or somewhere convenient for both of us. We learn how your business actually runs:
- Where your bottlenecks are and where money is leaking
- Your operating procedures, and how your team works day to day
- Your current marketing: what's running, what it costs, what it produces
- How your sales team handles the leads that come in, and how fast
- How your website and search visibility perform
- What your social media presence looks like
The plan
We come back with a plan built around one goal: revenue and return for the owner. Not activity, not vanity numbers. You review it and approve it.
We run it
Once the plan is approved, you let us execute it as designed. Strategies only work when they're carried out the way they were built, so this is the one thing we ask of every client. In return, you get clear, regular reporting on what's working and what it's producing.
An ongoing partnership
After launch we stay on it: refining, reporting, and adjusting as your business grows. The goal is a long-term relationship, not a one-time project.
What owners ask us
Who is A–Z Business Development for?
Do you replace our sales team or managers?
How long does it take?
How do we know it worked?
Let's walk your floor.
A discovery conversation first — what you're spending, what's coming in, and what happens to it after it does. If there's nothing to fix, we'll tell you that.
